absolutely. say you do everything to the optimal. you build what lik 2-3kg muscle a year. 1 kg muscle approx needs around 10 calories. focus on that shit train like hell. in 3-5 years you can eat 2 extra eggs for breakfast

Weight lifting is great for burning calories. But alot of the calories won't be burnt during the workout itself but rather after it while you're recovering.

exercise isn’t just burning calories and I hate that I was taught that in school. Getting into routine and working out 2-3 times a week no matter how many calories your burning is the best thing for you. Physically and mentally. I swear to god numbers is the enemy to losing weight. The amount of people i’ve told to stop counting steps and stop looking at the scale. Just work out. You’ll notice a difference eventually

I wish I could get myself to the gym like I used to. I work a physical job now and I don't have the energy anymore. you'd think that wouldn't matter because I'm working but it doesn't do the same things to my body and I don't look the same. If you want accurate calories burned for workout just do cycling, it shows watts which basically 99% compares to calories after calculating them
Anything other is just guesstimating
