I took my 2021 k5 in for an oil change they told me it was a recall on my fuel tank …… they kept the car and said it was unfixable due to the gas tank expanding ….. they paid it off

Yes…check your car for recalls monthly, no matter the make/model. I save myself from so many issues by doing so. I got my recall serviced as soon as I purchased mine. You can search the recalls on Kia website with your vin #. I’m so happy you’re ok & caught it before it got worse. Stay blessed beautiful. 💜

yep! I worked for Kia and unfortunately, the K5s do have a recall. But I've only seen this happen in person one time.
