One Piece had gotten so damn Bloated that it’s actually affecting the straw hats. Its no secret to anyone that The Straw hats have gotten flanderized down to their most basic traits and necessities but that's partly in cause Oda is so overly busy focusing on the numerous other side characters he keeps on introducing that the SHs have basically been simplified to be easier for Oda to write and handle but it's incredibly obvious.

Elbaph started off as one of the best and as soon as rocks died in the flashback and shamrock left, everything went downhill cuz oda is super inconsistent and doesn’t know when to place flashbacks. Imu is genuinely so boring as a villain too. Luckily we still have blackbeard to spice things up at the end but even then i know oda will fumble it😭

The thing is, one piece has always been bad for the exact same reasons you just listened. I don't really know what do you expect from it. People have been saying this for 20 years and you are surprised that this arc has the exact same issues every arc before it does. Why get disappointed over and over again, people don't value their time man
