Quit blaming the companies look at the underlying reasons like industrial carbon taxes and other regulations like clean fuel standards tax and regulations on farmers etc all add up to the costs of our groceries going threw the roof. Groceries are not made in the store and grown there they need transportation and manufacturing which all end up paying these rediculous taxes on everything down the supply chain and get passed down onto the consumer. These grocery stores have not changed there profit margins forever so can blame them.

cost of government salaries going up 30% is the real cause for inflation in this country. 1 in 3 works for a tax base job + full pension contribution costing us dearly.

Same with Bell, Rogers and Telus… all other companies are directly owned by them and affiliated somehow. Except freedom which is the outlier but also is crap. There really no competition in Canada. Three big banks, three big grocery conglomerates and three big wireless and home service providers. Explains why cost of living is high in North America.
