I’d test it out with a backup but I’ve never had a problem getting larger qualities of a non liquid food item through TSA. I would imagine icing would have a good chance of getting through

Honestly, my parents just labeled me as picky and never worried about this. As a child I had to consider this and it was so stressful. She may not eat because of the stress but it’ll be ok. You’re doing a great job! 🩷

it looks like you can call ahead about necessary liquids over 100mL. if you google “TSA cares assistance” there’s contact info. not sure if you’ve tried this but maybe also bring a familiar plate/bowl to help with eating in new environments (one that you can replace if it gets lost).

ive seen people bring a casserole during Thanksgiving. so you'll be okay. you can get a doctor's note too. ive heard of people doing tnat with celiac. ive never had an issue as a celiac bringing anything. good luck!!

Freeze the can of frosting and it should go through TSA just fine. I've gone through TSA with frozen red sauce.

When traveling my daughter gets whatever she will eat. Because sometimes the only safe food is ice cream candy or chips. We do our best to bring what she eats but sometimes a safe food doesn’t sound good so they just won’t eat. Calories are calories at that point.
