When i was 32, had 3 kids 4,2 and a toddler, I got involved with my city and became a Parks & Rec Commissioner. We have beautiful parks and facilities but no swim lessons. I started a MOMMY AND ME class for all young kids. That was 22 years ago and we have had NO REPORTED DROWNINGS in the city which im so proud of. TEACH YOUR KIDS TO SWIM !!! Most city programs have lessons and will do it for free if you're eligible. I am so happy knowing that my kids could get invited to a summer party ( Southern California, everyone has a POOL🤪) and knowing that my kids could swim and even took safety lessons so they could rescue someone. Also basic First Aid 🙏🙏

In Australia all children do lessons at primary school and the government subsidies swimming lessons during school holidays
