it always takes my heart rate a long time to slow down after i take a shower or bath, i usually avoid baths for that reason. i usually put an ice pack or a washcloth on the back of my neck and sit in front of a fan and that lowkey helps me. it’s still not a fix, my heart rate is still high but it makes me feel better. POTS is horrible and i don’t wish it upon my worst enemy.

Washing my hair is a nightmare. Some girls love everything showers but I hate it and dread it so much bc of my pots. It makes me so tired and makes me feel like I can’t breathe and feel dizzy and shaky like imma faint.

A shower chair is LIFE CHANGING! Shower chair + cold water helps sooooo much. Still raises my heart rate but not nearly as much
