Easy pulao recipe🍚❤️ Ingredients -Ghee or butter -Whole spices(including bay leaf, cinnamon stick, star anise, and cloves) -Carrots, finely diced -Green peas -Almonds -Cashews -Raisins -Rice, soaked -Salt(to taste) -Water Instructions 1. Heat the fat: Add a spoonful of ghee or butter to a deep pan over medium heat and let it melt completely. 2. Infuse with spices: Drop the whole spices (bay leaf, cinnamon, star anise, and cloves) into the hot fat to release their aromatics. 3. Sauté the vegetables: Toss in the diced carrots and green peas. Stir and cook them for a minute or two until they begin to soften. 4. Add the nuts and dried fruit: Mix in the almonds, cashews, and raisins, stirring them gently with the vegetables. 5. Incorporate the rice: Pour the soaked rice into the pan. Stir carefully so you don't break the grains, ensuring the rice is coated nicely with the ghee and mixed thoroughly with the nuts and vegetables. 6. Season and add liquid: Add salt to taste, then pour in enough water to cook the rice. Give everything a final, gentle stir to combine. 7. Simmer and steam: Cover the pan with a tight-fitting lid.
