Honestly a big appeal to me is that David isnt special. In the atmosphere of Night City, this is just one story out of millions untold. Thats the appeal of NC to me. The fact that a story like David's isn't insane

I think david is special but not as special as V or Adam smasher I feel like if anything went different he could have gotten to that level. i understand he's not the strongest. That's obvious, but I do see him being a top 10 top 15. Due to the fact, he was able to keep up with Adam Smasher. and he deserves to be a legend.

Ah yes David only used a sandevistan which is one of the strongest pieces of chrome in the verse and one of the rarest. He not only could use it freely, he mastered it very quickly, something 99% of the verse could not do. But he wasnt special.. Jesus the downplay of David is sad from "fans". Hes not on V's level but he was special
