what the other guy said who im guessing is muslim is not true. Although it can be more virtuous to marry widows and such, that does not mean it is impermissable to marry multiple unmarried women. The Qurans command on marrying multiple women has to do with treating them equally, if you cannot treat them equally then you should not marry multiple women. If you do so anyways and mistreat your wives then God will punish you, but if you genuinly believe that you will treat them all fairly then you are not at fault. On top of this, there is a difference of opinion as to whether marrying more than 1 wife is reccomended, some of the madhahib reccomend it some do not and some scholars wouldnt make a blanket claim like "its not reccomended to marry more than one wife for every muslim" rather they would look at individual cases. If a man has a high libido, with lots of wealth, status, physical attraction and finds it difficult not to fall into Zina with just 1 wife then a scholar may reccomend that he marry multiple. Ultimately Islamic law is significantly more nuanced than either parties are making it seem, sneako was in the wrong for what he said but the other guy made claims about the religion which are completely inaccurate.

wtf how is calling women “bitches n fcuking them n then kicking them out acceptable in today’s society but marrying up to four wives when specifically told to treat them equally n honour them is somehow wrong. A small percentage of Muslim men have multiple wives mostly the rich, even non Muslims have more than 1 wives and mistresses, some religions don’t allow divorce n some even burn widows. Some men are lustful creatures n Islam is a practical religion so it allows more wives with conditions. Look at the conditions of marriage in Islam. u have pay mehr n dowry. Islam protects women. I honestly believe weak men are polygamous. We admire animals with life time partners. Multiple partners It’s not healthy for the body and society.
