@studiogolden.shop: Have you ever wondered what the different colored meters mean? How long you can park downtown? Or where/when to park for free? Let’s get into it! Arbutus Folks School made an amazing infographic that helps clear everything up #SmallBusiness #shoplocal #supportsmallbusiness #supportlocal #pnwlife
What were they thinking? And they wonder why people don’t go downtown. Thanks for sharing this info!

I’m moving my small business out of Olympia because of parking. Making sure that business have to move their cars is awful.

I wish there was more 9 hour meters downtown. That’s where my caregivers park and not many options for them

Thank you for this breakdown. I just think it’s absolutely ridiculous that there’s so many different ones and so many rules. It’s confusing.

Parking policies downtown are placing an unnecessary burden on local businesses. My daughter worked downtown and received numerous parking tickets simply because of the lack of practical, long-term parking options for employees. Experiences like that, combined with ongoing concerns about homelessness and the overall downtown environment, have led our family to avoid visiting downtown whenever possible. If we want local businesses to succeed, we need solutions that make downtown more accessible, welcoming, and supportive for both employees and customers.
