@liinaa.fit: Reverse lunges don't always have to look the same. This variation is one of my favorites when the goal is to challenge the glutes through a bigger range of motion rather than simply moving the most weight. Here's what makes it different: • Take a longer step back. • Keep the back leg long instead of sinking into a deep bend. • Slightly turn the back foot out so the leg follows the natural position of your hip. • Keep your torso controlled and let the front glute lengthen at the bottom before driving back up. Why it feels so difficult: ✔️ The glute works from a much deeper stretch. ✔️ You need more balance and control. ✔️ Less momentum means the target muscle has to do more of the work. Don't be surprised if you have to reduce the weight. Better technique with lighter loads will often create a stronger stimulus than heavier reps done with shortcuts. Give it a try for 8–12 controlled reps per leg and let me know how your glutes feel afterward. • • • • #lunges #glutegrowth #gluteworkout #legday #strengthtrainingforwomen
