@mumlifewithmercedes: I have spent SO many years hearing " you should have just asked" but why should I be the only one to notice! The mental load I am carrying is HEAVY & so is being the 'default parent'. I am fed up of being the manager of everyone! Being a mother & wife isnt just doing the laundry, dishes, school runs etc its all the rest going on in my head - the sorting, planning, remembering & generally sorting everything out for the rest of the family who have the luxury of not having to think! Its time things changed! I have been surviving like this for over 10 years and it's time to prioritise me! Who else is in this position? Follow along for my journey 🧡
