To this day, I’m fully convinced people only hate MJ simply cause of how poorly she was written in the Raimi movies. And yes, I blame the writing and not Kirsten Dunst’s acting. Out of the 3 main love interests in the live-action movies, she was 100% the worst. I’m not arguing that. However, in the comics, no one cares about Peter more and people need to realize that. The only fictional couple that’s on par with them are Hiccup and Astrid.
