@carolwoolton: The tiara that could become three different jewels… Made c.1900 by Spain’s oldest jewellery house, Ansorena. It belonged to Spanish noblewoman Esperanza Chávarri Aldecoa. A lady-in-waiting to Queen Victoria Eugenie of Spain. It could be seperated into two different parts, each of which could be worn as tiara individually. The lower part could even be turned upside down and transformed into a choker necklace! Ansorena also made the magnificent fleur-de-lys tiara in 1906 which is still worn by the Spanish royal family today. today, the Meander Tiara is in the collection of V Muse which is located in Paris and has one of the most impressive collections of Royal and Aristocratic jewels. #tiaratok #tiaratuesday #jewelrytok #jewelryaddict
