Just a heads up this is basically being forced onto us by the board of education despite major push back from a lot of people. thanks for spreading the word and as a Texas teacher all I can do is hope that we can fix this before 2030

Yeah. Indoctrinating kids to being compassionate and loving. How awful. My question, isn't the practice of forcing kids to study things they're not interested in pretty much the entire structure of what school is in general?

As a Texas teacher, it’s already here. Not 2030, now. I’ll be forced to teach it this year in the Bluebonnet curriculum. Bluebonnet was incentivized to Texas schools at $60-$150 per student. Since many schools are severely underfunded and teachers have gone so long without raises it made it impossible for many districts not to adopt the curriculum.

I live in Texas and I am not happy. I understand everyone had their own beliefs as so do I. I don’t want their beliefs pushed on myself or my family, and I wouldn’t push mine into them. I don’t mind having a civil conversation about what we believe not forced.
