But the average person dealing with depression doesn't get anywhere close to the amount of days that this representative got. So while it sucks he had to go through that, it still is no where near the same experience that the people he is representing, deal with. And that is not even mentioning health insurance coverage or even the ability to find a provider.

Maybe now they will take depression seriously not just for him for everyone else. Many go without any help or treatment,maybe now they will do something to help others that suffer from depression.

Did he have to use his annual leave or sick leave? The regular American people would have to use all their leave and go leave without pay and hope their job was still there when they got better.
