Dear Blake,
I started listening to your music when I found out you were opening for Bailey Zimmerman, and I instantly fell in love with your songs. Since then, I haven’t stopped listening. I’m completely obsessed with your music.
I was counting down the days until the concert on April 18. On April 7, I started practicing singing “Hard to Break.” I learned the lyrics so fast—it only took me two days. But April 7 also became one of the hardest days of my life because I got a message from my mom telling me that my grandma had passed away. I turned on my speaker, blasted “Hard to Break,” and completely broke down crying.
Your music has helped me through so much, and I’m so grateful that you started writing and sharing your music with the world. You are such an amazing country artist, Blake.
When April 18 finally arrived, I was beyond excited for the concert. The moment you walked out on stage, I fell even more in love with your music. When you performed “Yellow” by Coldplay, I started tearing up because it made me think of my grandma. I quickly wiped away my tears because I’ve always been the type of person who hides my emotions and doesn’t like telling people how I’m really feeling.
As the concert was coming to an end, I got to meet Toni. He’s an amazing guy, and I’m glad to have him as a friend on social media. After the show at the Denny Sanford Premier Center, I noticed people waiting by the gates, so my friends and I decided to wait too, hoping to meet you.
Blake, I was so excited when I saw you walking toward the gates to meet your fans. I’m so grateful that we got a picture together and that you signed the poster I made. That moment meant so much to me.
The very next day, I got tickets to the Country Drive Music Festival in Ashland, Nebraska, so I could see you perform again. I also got tickets to see you for a third time in Minneapolis on October 17, and I can’t wait. Your music is on repeat all day long.
Thank you for creating music that helps people through difficult times. Your songs have meant more to me than you’ll probably ever know.
