I work in derm. Ask for a medical note requesting for coverage. Sometimes people can surprisingly get insurance for things IF there are symptoms. Like pain, itch, etc.

Have your dr write a letter of medical necessity citing quality of life being impacted. They’ll likely need to do a peer review to discuss the coverage with another dr. But they should be able to clearly demonstrate the need from what I see.

Try Palmer’s skin therapy oil. It made a huge difference in the itching and uncomfort I felt with my skin graft done sights. The more mistier the better. It does get better 🫶🏻 mine is 11 months post op and I don’t experience the itching anymore
