the egg rooms always have the most beautiful sound tracks. especially chapter 5, scarlet forest has been my favorite ost for a long while and hearing it on piano made me tear up a little

I donโt understand why people were disappointed with this egg room. I think it beautifully encapsulates the finale of something. I see it as a โbeginning to the end,โ as we started BACK from where we begun, to now, The End. The end of the forgotten man. Also the allusion of him being Krisโ therapist, and how Kris suppresses all their trauma, theyโd suppress their therapist, leading him to be โforgotten.โ Personally, this is my favorite egg room.

egg room always fascinated me bcs why kris is being addressed from a third person pov exclusively in the room? it feels as if the egg man is only for kris to see, smth that's special to kris for us players can't see him, and yet he is slipping through their fingers. as if kris will never have something only belonged to them again.

We lived to appreciate a being that didnโt exist in the first place. But now, we accepted he never will exist but that he will be remembered anyway. Its ironic how heโs named the forgotten man but is one of the characters that can impact the most when reading is dialogue depending on how you interpret it.

I hate when people say he's gaster, in the ps5 version of the game one of the reoccurring achievements is "Complete chapter _ without issue" and if you get the egg you dont get this achievement, gaster is most likely the one who created the story, including the chapters and plot, so the egg being an "issue" means getting it in some way is a problem to gasters creation and story
