Shared Infrastructure as Everyday Landscape This project reframes housing as a collective spatial system rather than a repetition of isolated units; a low-rise timber structure where domestic life is extended into shared exterior rooms, circulation edges, and semi-public thresholds. Instead of prioritising enclosure, the building is organised around permeability and continuous social visibility. The massing remains deliberately restrained, forming a calm, horizontal presence within the landscape. Layered walkways and continuous balcony lines operate as communal spines, stitching individual units into a broader spatial network. These elevated edges become informal social spaces where movement, pause, and encounter overlap. Material expression is grounded in timber construction, allowing warmth, texture, and environmental integration to define the architectural language. Vegetation is not applied as decoration but embedded into the spatial logic of the ground plane and perimeter gardens, reinforcing a gradual transition between built form and park-like surroundings. At street level, the building opens fully to its context, dissolving the boundary between public path and residential edge. This creates a condition where everyday movement through the site becomes part of the communal life of the project.
