Honestly not even a bad theory even if this is a crack theory lol. Even if this is just Alphys’s experiment gone wrong on the underground, we can make some theories for fun! Rudy could’ve somehow had his appearance warped if he actually is this spoon figure. this is the only other time we see some sort of treatment/hospital area in the utdr universe outside of deltarune. The lab areas of undertale are becoming extremely important, especially sans’s lab. I wouldn’t be surprised if something in true lab is important too. But again, this is just for fun so don’t harass me!
