Someone didn't read the journal. The Relic is able to increase someone's resistance to cyberpsychosis. V had incredibly high resistance already, but the relic nearly doubled it. Cemented further by the fact that V can only have so many augmentations before Konpeki Plaza. Some datashards, similar to the Relic, are specifically designed to increase people's resistance to cyberpsychosis. A common trend with Cyberpychos is that they received an implant that controls their emotional impulses that malfunctioned, or couldn't afford a datashard to increase their mental fortitude and resistance to cyberpsychosis.

The only reason v could was immune to cyberpsychosis was because of the relic. V canonically only had kiroshis, a grip and subdermal armor before the heist. That’s all v could handle that we know of. Everything else is speculation

I can tell some of y’all didnt play the game and only watched the anime cause in the game if you have done some of the cyberphycosis activities you know that getting cyberphycosis isn’t just chrome based its also tied to truma or emotions.
