Daemon was the smarter warrior and rider. Vermithor , silverwing and meleys could have taken vhagar during the dance in a 1v1 all 3 of them are big dragons but younger and faster than vhagar

Let's be clear, if I had to choose between two dragons, I would choose the one that isn't old, so that what happened to King Viserys I doesn't happen to me. Even if Vigar doesn't die in the Dance of the Dragons, I don't think she'll live another 10 years.
