I think there were so many layers to this book. But I really took away how the relationship between mothers and daughters really can shape your entire life and the decisions that you make.

This was such a unique read, and I don’t think a lot of people are actually seeing the point it was trying to make! There is soo much about self-centered-ness in this book that should be bringing awareness to people. And I wish there was more discourse around Natalie’s mom, I’m sooo tired of the constant blame of Natalie’s life style on herself, when more people need to be talking about how her mother ultimately started her in the direction she chose!

I’m not a mother so I didn’t relate to it on your level, if anything that gave me a less biased POV. but I cant decide how I feel about it, so I didn’t even rate it on my Goodreads 😂 if I’m being honest what it did make me feel was parasocial bc i WAS making comparisons to BF, especially in the beginning. I felt annoyed with myself for that lol
