I always apply powerful fragrances lower on the body: lower back, navel, knees, that way it isn’t so close to the face. :)

I never liked Jo Malone perfumes unfortunately! I think they use too much musk.

for intense perfumes I spray my clothes the day before and put it in the bathroom with the window open so when I wear it the next day its aired the perfume and doesnt give me a headache

if you have cashmere wooly clothes or even just regular clothes too, you can spray the perfume and let it diffuse through the fabric so when you wear it after a while it smells perfect and normal!

For Jo Malone I agree but personally I have Wood sage and see salt which is my fav ever. Very light I love it. It doesn’t stay more than 2 hours.. I can’t spray myself every 2 hours.. is there an in between ?

Interesting, the Jo Malone colognes are known for not lasting long, but I feel like the intense ones last just a tick better but in comparison to other brands, their lasting power is still weak. I always plan ahead when traveling what I might want to buy at the duty free but still do a quick google if it’s actually a good deal or not

a good place to apply the perfume to is the back of your neck or shoulders - that way you still have the 'cloud' of it surrounding you and letting others feel it without it being straight into your nose🥰

I really hate what the perfume industry has become. samples are so hard to get and if you want a smaller size you have to buy a expensive sample set (with a lot of fragrances I don't want). on the other hand: full bottles are getting more expensive every year. so buying full size is more of a risk. it's beyond frustrating
