@marialovesholyspirit: These are a few things I intentionally did when my kids were little: • Teach them the power in the name of Jesus. I wanted them to know from a young age that His name isn’t just something we say, it’s where we run in fear, uncertainty, and every battle they’ll face. • Give them their own little Bible and make time for it through the week, even before they could read. They weren’t going to understand everything, and that was never the point. I wanted them to grow up believing that spending time in God’s Word is simply part of life. Understanding comes with maturity, but the habit can begin long before that. • Let them worship through creativity. Whether it was painting, drawing, or making something for God, I wanted them to know that worship isn’t limited to music or church. The gifts He’s given them can always be used to honor Him. • Create a special place where they could spend time alone with God. Even if their prayers were simple, they were learning that they didn’t need Mom to talk to Jesus, they could build that relationship themselves. As moms, we can’t choose our children’s faith for them. But we can faithfully plant seeds, create rhythms, and point them to Jesus over and over again.
