Most towns have a compost site for residents. Your taxes pay for it and they'll often times have mulch that is free for residents, as well.

brown bags at the curb on trash day or you can call your township/city or trash service company and ask if it’s allowed to get a trash bin from the store and use it for yard waste

Use the mulch setting on your mower and grind it up when you cut your grass. Or pick a low spot in the yard and that is the location of your new compost pile. What are the rules for garbage where you are, can you just put it out among the other garbage. It is biodegradable and actually good for a landfill, no different than the leftover salad you throw away.

We have a green bin specifically for yard trimmings. Gets picked up weekly, same day as trash and recycle. It is seasonal and only picked up March-November.

usually the city or your hoa has a day for “grass clippings” and you can bag them by the street. you most likely need lawn bags and your pickup may specify lawn bags have to be compostable. just google yard pick up in city name and ask your neighbors if there’s a service

Dig a hole and start a new compost pit. When it gets fullish, dig a new one next to it, putting that soil on top of the old pit. Plant clover on the new hill. Repeat.

Most places have composting bins in addition to trash and recycling bins. it can go straight in the trash bin if you don't have a composting bin

Check your town's website. We have big green waste bins, but you can also put your big stuff in a pile on the curb and they come pick up every other week. Don't put them out too early though for common decency. Takes up a lot of parking space

There’s sometimes a green waste bin for organic waste like lawn clippings, leaves, and weeds. You can also bag it and find the nearest waste dump that takes stuff like this.

My family had a box by our fire pit. Once it dries out it’s pretty good kindling. (Lowkey not great but it was mostly just convenient haha)
