my mom received a heart in 1997 and it gave us 7 years and 5 months more time with her. she could have been gone at 38 but lived til 45 and got to see us become teenagers. 💜

My brother Josh passed away in January 2025. He was a donor and one day we got a letter from one of the recipients, and I bawled my eyes out uncontrollably for so long. I’m sorry for your loss.

My grandma was given a double lung transplant and because of that wonderful gift, we got 14 more years with her. She loved my kids so much, we were building a house with a room for her when she passed. 💜

I am someone who received the generous gift of a heart of a 14 year old girl. Her heart saved my life, and I am able to live on and be a mother to my 3 children, and a wife to my husband. My mom got a kidney transplant in Nov of 2001 and she went on to live for 19 more years unfortunately she passed in 2021 not related to the transplant other health issues but I’m forever grateful for those who are organ donors they gave me 19 more years with my mom. 🫶🏼
