jokes on you I've lived here my whole life, always smelled that smell, worked there as my first job and now the smell is nostalgic and I like it. True idahoans are not bothered by the smell.

I’m a 3rd class millwright at that factory. You get use to the smell. And that’s nothing compared to the old armors beef that use to be at the end of kings rd .. 🤮 if you know you know .

my family has been working at the sugar factory for years and if you were to ask them about that smell, they'd reply with " smells like money". the sugar factory is one of the highest paying factory jobs in Idaho and any true idahoan is proud to have that factory in smelling distance. Amalgamated sugar factory of Idaho.

Yea the sugar beats smell bad but it’s also the waste water treatment plant that’s near by as well. It’s just not the sugar beats factory.
