She could barely see the world around her. Every breath looked heavy. Every movement seemed to hurt. Neighbors said she had been wandering the streets for days, bumping into walls and struggling to find food. No one stopped. No one helped. When we brought her to our Sanctuary, she didn't fight — she just rested her head in our hands as if she knew she was finally safe. The veterinary team examined her immediately. She is suffering from a severe eye infection and respiratory complications that require urgent medication, eye treatment, antibiotics, and daily care. Her treatment has already begun, but we now owe $1,850 to the veterinary department for her examinations, lab tests, medications, and ongoing care. The bill continues to grow as she needs daily treatment and follow-up visits. Without completing her full course of medication, she could lose her sight completely. We cannot give up on her now.
