@honestly.kaitlyn: Why are moms always on their phones? Because they are usually the ones who are the household managers. The ones who remember to buy the laundry detergent when it’s out, the ones who read the school emails, arrange play dates, schedule doctors appointments and the 47 other things that no one else is thinking about. I think I’m feeling this more right now because my kids are on summer break but I still have to manage a whole household, my kids schedules, baby prep and work. I’ve started showing everyone what I’m doing and having my son participate if he says something about me being on my phone. Not in a mean way I just say “Oh I’m actually making you your doctors appointment to follow up on your migraines how about I show you how to do it yourself?” I’ve decided he needs to know exactly how much I’m doing and learn to to these things for himself. We didn’t ask for the entire world to be on the internet but that’s what it is and we’re doing great
