for ppl who cant find it☹️: Everything between us was perfect until he got accepted into a university eight hours away.At first, we promised we’d make long distance work. We called every night, watched movies together online, and counted down the days until we’d see each other again.But after a few months, reality hit. His classes ran late, I had my own responsibilities, and our schedules barely matched anymore. We started missing calls, replying hours later, and celebrating birthdays and milestones through a screen. One night, after another missed date, he called me and said “I can’t keep asking you to wait for me’’ and I said ‘’I’m not waiting because I have to but because I love you.”(I remember the conversation like it was yesterday)…He admitted he wouldn’t be coming back for years, and neither of us wanted the other to put their life on hold. We both knew we’d only end up hurting each other more by holding on.So we broke up that night. We cried, said “I love you” one last time, and ended the call.
