The cable won’t increase your internet but he’s not inherently saying that, if you pay for 2gb internet but have a bad cord you’re missing out on half of what your paying for hence the reason to get the cord 🤷♂️

Actually most routers have a 1g Ethernet port and a 5G port he plugged it into the 5G then into a 1G port that’s why their is a massive difference

you wont get those speeds unless you pay fir them through your provider. im a cable guy and do installs, troubleshooting etc and adding an eithernet to your computer only gets you the speed your router in provisioned for

Second video like this that I’ve posted under but anyways. Hey so, Spectrum technician here. That’s not how that works. Just buying a new Ethernet cable won’t instantly get you better speeds. You are limited to the speeds of the cables that are already ran in your home walls, and the speeds your internet provider provides. If you are already getting the speeds you should from your provider, don’t waste your time.

Indeed a scam. A cable is not gonna give you a faster speed than you are paying for from you ISP. You have a designated target speed provided by the ISP which can fluctuate but not a whole lot
