Best tip I learned from my pawpaw: watermelons, zucchini, squash or cucumber on top of a little hill of soil/dirt and plant a few seeds on the top of it like a little circle! Obviously you guys do a trellis for cucumber but figured anyone in comments might find use in this

I don’t put my butternut that far apart as I trellis it up cattle panels, found that they can grow much closer without impact that way.
