I wasn’t getting Alpine Divorce ⛰️💀 vibes, but there were 2 things I caught that seemed sus… first, someone in the comments said that she mentioned elsewhere that they have known each other for one year. Not that they’ve been married that long, but they’ve known each other that long. I’m wondering if they built that $20k savings together very recently or if one or both of them came in with a little nest egg. Second, she said they’re lucky she caught it early because if they caught it longer than 48 hours from when it happened it would be nearly impossible to get the money back. I’m wondering if the money disappearing right before they were supposed to be offline on a camping trip wasn’t a coincidence, and she wasn’t supposed to notice so quickly.
