With horns? 👀 When he was born, Henry was named Goliath. 🐄🥹 Literally from birth, he was massive - tall, long-legged, and already looking like he was carved out of stone. And because he was born male on a dairy farm, his size didn’t matter.... His sweetness didn’t matter.... His potential didn’t matter. He was worthless. In the dairy industry, male calves are literally considered a "waste product." They can’t produce milk, so most are taken from their mothers within hours and are either killed immediately, sold for veal, or auctioned off extremely cheap for low-value meat. Most Holstein boys never get to grow up. Most never even get a name. 💔 Goliath - now Henry - and his brother David survived only because a kind woman named Angela stepped in and said, "Not these boys.” She literally saved their lives. Henry lost David, and in 2023 - we brought Henry to Sisu. It’s really hard to show how big Henry truly is on video. You can’t understand his scale until you're standing next to him... he is enormous, gentle, and breathtaking. The way we lifted him with the hay bale and the tractor wasn’t cruel… it was the only safe way to get him up. He is huge. And we just realized today, he might actually be *record-breaking* huge. I love Henry with my whole heart. 😭 Thank you to every single person who has sent kindness, prayers, suggestions, or support for him. We’ve been searching for answers for a long time… and this tick/biting-fly illness was never even on our radar until last night.
