My wife's love language is phyiscal touch. I thought that mine was too. No. Nope. Incorrect. I have learned so much about just what that means. For her it means cuddles, holding her face in a particular way, head scratches, lots of kisses, holding hands and more. Those are the things that make her feel emotionally close. Mine is being seen and understood. When she goes out of her way to do something nice for me. When she anticipates what I want, even if she doesn't get it quite right, it sends me over the moon. Makes me feel wanted and loved in a way I have never felt before. Anywho you mentioned love languages and I ranted lol I hope you find someone who will love you the want you deserve and want.

People don’t understand love languages. Almost everyone enjoys physical touch, particularly from your romantic partner and especially if you’re touch deprived/not physical with friends. But like your love language is what strengthens your relationship and makes you feel loved or best shows your love. So just because you enjoy physical touch does not mean it’s your love language

I have a friend, and whenever I'm on their couch I slowly start to lean twords them to the point where Im basically laying down and my head is by their leg or I just stay in a diagonal position

I will forever follow up the question with, "If you take all sexual contact out of it and consider that type of touch a completely different love language, would you still consider your primary love language physical affection?" Because yeah, I need the non-sexual kind more than anything or else we are not connected at all romantically.

YES YOU GET IT!! If physical touch is your main love language, you will also be like that in platonic relationships. I love hugs, forehead kisses, giving massages, linking arms, cuddles, etc with everyone I love. I hold myself back for the sake of others and not making them uncomfy, but when friends give me the OK I love on them!

im like a cat. i can only give physical touch and it has to only be for like 5 seconds before i start to get uncomfortable. i like the iniating of a hug or handholding but if it goes on too long my body gets sore and my brains like ENOUGH !!! BACK I SAY!

I'm not a man anymore but like I love physical touch so much. My little brother and sister are always getting hugged and swung around. My family all scratches each other's backs/heads. I hope that I can find a partner that rocks with this someday
