@mad86806: I often joke that a teenager puppy is the hardest type of dog to foster. They’re usually so rambunctious, have zero manners, are unaware of their growing bodies, have razor sharp teeth, are still play biting - it’s a very fun age but one that requires a lot of patience. That’s why this girl and her siblings really stick out to me. Every single one of them acts like you’re going to hit them, yell at them, or be mean to them. Their body language screams “please don’t hurt me. I mean no harm.” I truly don’t know how anyone could lay a single hand on an animal. Even if this litter is just coincidentally very shy and it’s just their personality, the animal abuse stories that I see every day just scrolling social media for a few seconds makes me sick. They are so helpless and dogs especially are an innately domesticated species that want to be around us.
