But that's not what the Gospel says. Jesus didn't die so you could remain a prisoner to your old life. He died to make you a new creation. The battle against sin is real. But God's grace is greater. Don't confuse repeated failure with a lack of hope. Bring your sin into the light. Confess it. Repent of it. Turn toward Christ again. Every day is another opportunity to walk in obedience. Don't settle for chains when Jesus offers freedom. Don't build a home in the place God is calling you to leave. His mercy is new every morning. His grace is sufficient.
