Mmm I let it get to 4 quarts then start the car, rev it a little and then shut it off. Measure and add as needed which is like .5 quarts after. Some cars onlty take 3 quarts, some more. dsepeneds.

Run some Lucas oil additive will help slow down the oil leaks. I run 2 jugs on my 2007 Silverado with 527,000 on it because she burns and leaks a fair bit of oil.
