You're so cute. It's MDF girly. It should only be your cabinets though your counter may be mdf but most likely has another material on top of the mdf like laminate

The outsides of the cabinets can get wet, I spray cleaner in mine all the time and they’re fine. It’s just if there are nicks or cracks in the veneer coating then the MDF underneath will swell. Normal use and cleaning is fine.

I love you. I would’ve just cooked them in the pot then put them back in the container 😅. You can get your counter top wet just dry it after. The cupboards are mdf but have a special coating on them. The water would have to get in a seam or crack and touch the mdf for it to expand.

They are now. Because they changed to paper. But not with the styrofoam they used to be. But everyone did it. lol
