As someone that works in the mental health feild, "rehab" can be treatment for many things and is generally used as a term that means residential treatment for any kind of mental health issue including general stress or recovering from a DV relationship, or not being able to see her son. This doesn't necessarily mean she has a problem with substance abuse.
