Exactly. I’m in the market because my current model is the oldest kindle that did not lose support in this last change, and I’m tired of the entire brand and their shenanigans. I’m liking getting a boox so I can keep all my current ebooks but use a different app for future purchases, but I’m taking my time deciding because mine does still work just fine.

The way my kindle paper soft literally stopped charging and then I got a new one at Christmas AND IT STARTED CHARGING AGAIN

I got the most recent kindle only because it was on sale and my mom got me and my sister one for Christmas because we both were using our iPads for reading and both need glasses and get chronic migraines. 😅😅 if it wasn’t affecting our eyes and harming us we probably would’ve continued using our iPads tho tbh

I know. I have come across people who have 19 and...pick one based on mood. I mean what? why? it's stupid. the only time it makes sense is if you have the largest one and want a. smaller one to go out with. but that's 2 that perhaps have different functions. you don't need 10.

I got an iPad mini because I was tired of my nook and kindle aging out. Now I have all three apps 😅. It wasn’t cheap but it’s great and I’ve not had one complaints
