Inflation double values about every 15 years. If you don't get that return with your investments, you are losing your principal. That's why 1% difference Compounded, ends up being a lot. Do your numers youself. Don't listen to others. Every 30 years. 4 times. Every 45 years 8 years. Time makes a difference long term. You'll be 45 years older witth your netcworth 8 times what you have now. The discipline is, don't eat your apples until you have an Orchad. I've done it. Now my grandchildren will get my Trust.
