I really enjoy how you review books, and that’s not something I usually enjoy. Thank you for sharing! It’s hard to say what you might consider a 5 star banger without knowing your taste a bit better, but KJ Charles’ Society of Gentlemen series is excellent, historically well-researched and also well-written. (M/M historical romance)

Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver! It covers a lot of really heavy things, but the story and the writing are absolutely beautifully written. Also I will always recommend the Locked Tomb books -- I was sure you had read them but I checked and didn't see them in your Storygraph!

highly recommend the raven scholar if you haven’t gotten to it! absolutely magical amazing read loved every moment of it. my fav read of the year so far too is red winter by cameron sullivan, perfect in every way not one complaint!!
