It’s also important to understand that stock market ≠ health of the economy. I think regular retail people tend to correlate how their own personal 401k’s, brokerage accounts etc are performing and how likely a recession is looming, which is understandable but important to understand that separation

55 retired early. Just moved 401k in a 50/50 portfolio with quite a bit of 50 in SGOV. No way I’m ready to see a 40+% drop. Will reallocate when that inevitably happens. Got to say my wife confidently holds a 75/25 tho.

So, by October 2027, all these new trade routes and money lending will probably hit a blow-off top that'll last about three to five years until the new digital system. What folks aren't really seeing is China slowly ditching bonds for its own Shanghai gold market, just like other countries are doing.
