Banana roti... without the dough 🤭 I absolutely LOVE banana desserts, and banana roti is one of those Thai street food desserts I randomly crave every now and then. The only problem is... I never feel like making the dough from scratch. The other day I had some leftover condensed milk in the fridge (and of course, rice paper 😌), so I decided to see if I could recreate those crispy, buttery banana roti flavors in a much easier way. And honestly... it turned out SO good. The rice paper gets beautifully crispy on the outside while staying soft and slightly chewy around the bananas, and it really satisfied that banana roti craving with just a handful of ingredients and barely any effort. If you love banana desserts as much as I do and want a quick sweet snack, definitely give this one a try 🤍 🍌 Crispy Rice Paper Banana Roti Ingredients 2 rice papers 1 egg Pinch of salt 1 banana, sliced 1 tsp butter Condensed milk Instructions 1. Whisk together the egg and salt. Dip both rice papers in the egg mixture. 2. Melt the butter in a pan over medium-low heat. Place one rice paper in the pan and top with the banana slices. 3. Cover with the second rice paper and fold the edges in to seal. 4. Cook until golden and crispy, then flip and cook until both sides are deeply golden. 5.
