Mostly it starts with me picking a journal to handwrite in. Starting, deciding either the journal is too good or not good enough and then having to go on a search for another journal.

i wrote like that all the time when i was a kid! honestly really nice to write by hand, but my wrists get tired very fast. now i usually sketch some scenes in my notes app and then start fully writing in google docs. a bit boring

I love that! I usually start my first drafts digitally since I tend to edit and reorganize as I go. I've always wondered if writing by hand creates a stronger connection to the story. Do you feel it helps your creativity?

I tried this. Bought a nice journal and pen for it. Was nice. Then forget how to spell silhouette. Never touched it again 😭😂
