This makes me kind of emotional. Story time: I deployed to Afghanistan in 2011 as a U.S Marine with my mentor Sgt Drew Kostic. He was hardcore and a lot of people feared him because of it. Multiple deployments, black belt instructor, and he carried himself with confidence. During our deployment we became best friend after I was promoted to Sgt. He was the one I selected to pin me on. When the deployment was over, we were flying back to the states and we have to stop at Kyrgyzstan first (this was the hub for military going in and out of Afghanistan.) during our time in Kyrgyzstan we would hang out at this rec place that had gaming systems. We found army of 2 and would play it. We would go back to the tents at night and find our flight out was delayed. After 3 days, we jokingly said “what if the flight is delayed until we beat Army of 2?” And so we set it out to beat it. We beat it and then coincidentally the flights were ready and we went home. We continued to be best friends outside of work and were like family. Our enlistments ended and we went separate ways. In December 2016 I got the phone call… he ended it… no signs. No weakness shown. Happily married. Financially comfortable. No one saw it coming. I never got to say bye. Never got to speak to him again. Damn, I miss you Drew. Semper Fidelis.

Used to play this with my little brother when it came out and for years after. He died in a car crash a few years back. If they made another one I don't think I could stand to play it no matter how good it was. I miss that little shit
